as for over/unders – if two teams play a shootout and score over 10 runs a piece – usually next game they tend to be out of gas and go UNDER the total!

The "confidence" aspect sort of takes away your ability to catch up with upsets one week. But if you just go with the favorites every week you’ll never make any ground up. So just hang in there with safe picks and maybe try some upsets the final week?

Sunday, April 18th, 2010I’m going to be going to vegas for the first time and was wondering what the maximum bet is usually allowed at one book. I’ll be staying at the rio and betting on the march madness tourney in particular.
Not to be rude but if you are asking this on Yahoo, you have no worries. If you were a high roller you would know Las Vegas sports books will take about any bet. Anything over $5000 on one game may need to be approved my a floor manager.
Take Pitt to make final 4, I doubt they will win it all though.
